Tea Blends for Winter Wellness

Adaptogen Chai Blend

As winter starts to envelop us in her chilly embrace we are reminded to rest, reflect, and seek out the more comforting things in life.

‘Tis the season of warming flavors, rich broths, and starchy foods. This is also a time for gathering with loved ones, holiday parties, shopping, and gift giving, which coupled with cold weather can wear down the immune system when are bodies much rather be resting.

Many of the warming herbs and spices we associate with winter, such as ginger, cardamon, cinnamon, and clove keep the blood flowing in warm weather, boost our ability to fight infection and digest heavy foods.

Tea can be a tasty vehicle to introduce more vitamins, nutrients, and immune support into your daily life. A steaming cup of herbal tea keeps the body warm, blood flowing, and delicate mucous membranes moisturized.

Some of our favorite tea blends are rich in flavor with notes of citrus and berries, sweet and spicy. Perfect to share a pot with friends or treat yourself on any cold winter day.
